Cookie controls should be clear, reversible, and easy to reach.
VicPods uses a limited set of cookies and similar technologies for sessions, preferences, first-party product analytics, and consent management. This page explains what they do and gives you a direct way to review or withdraw optional consent.
Sessions, preferences, and limited first-party measurement.
VicPods uses cookies and similar technologies for account sessions, language/theme preferences, consent tracking, and basic product activity measurement.
What VicPods avoids
Not an advertising-cookie model.
VicPods is not designed around selling audience data or building hidden ad profiles. If this changes in the future, the legal pages and consent setup should change too.

01
Essential cookies and storage
These technologies are used to keep VicPods functioning and secure. They do not rely on advertising logic and are part of delivering the product you asked to use.
Session cookie (`vicpods.sid`) keeps signed-in sessions working securely.
Security and request-protection mechanisms support CSRF protection and safe account activity.
Cookiebot stores the consent state needed to remember your cookie choices.
02
Preference storage
VicPods stores product preferences so the app remembers choices you make for your own experience.
Theme preference can be stored locally so dark or light mode stays consistent.
Language preference can be stored locally to keep the interface aligned with your choice.
03
First-party analytics and operational measurement
VicPods uses limited first-party activity tracking for product operations, onboarding, security, and understanding how the product is used. This is not positioned as an ad-tech system.
A first-party visitor ID cookie (`vicpods_vid`) helps distinguish repeat visits.
Page views, signups, logins, and product activity may be recorded for product operations and security review.
VicPods does not currently position this as cross-site ad profiling.
04
Third-party services connected to VicPods
Some service providers may set or rely on cookies or similar technologies when their features are used.
Cookiebot is used for consent management.
Stripe may use cookies or storage where billing or checkout features are opened.
Google may use cookies or storage if you choose Google sign-in.
Browser-level control
You can also clear stored data locally.
If you want a full reset, you can clear cookies and local storage for VicPods from your browser. Cookiebot also notes that removing consent cookies will cause the consent banner to reappear on the next visit.
