Users should be able to understand and exercise their rights without friction.
This page explains the privacy-related rights VicPods supports, which controls are already available inside the product, and how to submit a formal data-rights request if you need more than the in-app tools provide.

VicPods may verify identity before acting.
This helps prevent someone else from accessing or deleting your information by mistake or through deception.

Rights supported by VicPods
Depending on applicable law, users may have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and portability.
- Access: ask what personal data VicPods holds about you.
- Correction: ask for inaccurate data to be fixed.
- Deletion: use the in-app delete-account control or submit a request where needed.
- Restriction or objection: ask VicPods to pause or stop specific processing where the law allows it.
- Portability: request a copy of the personal data you provided in a structured form where applicable.

How to submit a request
VicPods aims to keep the path straightforward and human-readable.
- Email privacy@vicpods.com with the subject line `Data rights request`.
- Explain what right you want to exercise and which account email is affected.
- Include enough detail for the request to be understood without sharing unnecessary personal data.
- VicPods may ask for identity confirmation before completing sensitive requests.

Expected response timing
VicPods aims to respond within one month for standard privacy requests, subject to complexity and legal exceptions.
- Simple in-app changes happen immediately through Settings.
- Formal requests are reviewed manually.
- If extra time is needed, VicPods should explain why and communicate the extension.

Supervisory authority complaints
If you are in the EU/EEA and believe VicPods handled a request improperly, you may complain to your supervisory authority. Where applicable, this includes the Irish Data Protection Commission.
- VicPods prefers to resolve the issue directly first where possible.
- Using the privacy contact does not remove your right to complain to a regulator.
